Gelli Print #18

It is interesting how just flipping the stencil to the other side makes the face look so different.  The stencil I made for her was based on Drawing 199. She looks different because she is reversed.

I used the layer-dry method for the base image, then I added some additional background and some enhanced shading using neocolor II crayons and inktense pencils.

This was pulled off the plate in one pull (layer-dry method) then I added the words in the background
and used a little inktense and oil crayons on her. LOVE this BeePaper! Also, fun fact, I have new girl stencils
in the works. It takes a long time to transform one of my drawings into a stencil. Lots of illustrator work.
