Passions: I love art in all its forms - including Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), advertising, digital art, and sculpting. I dig social networking and all the things that can be done with it. I enjoy community and collaborating on projects. I day dream of having my art on display in a location near me. I've had my art work, ATCs mostly - but also some donated work, on display in several countries. (I should have wrote that down...seems interesting now.)Career: Presently, I am working at DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA an Admissions Coordinator. From 2000 – 2008, I worked at Puget Sound Energy as a marketing specialist and web developer. Some of my major accomplishments at Puget Sound Energy include site management for PSE.com (Home and Business Solutions section), project management for two major collateral redesigns for the Energy Efficiency Services and Green Power Program divisions of the company, and event booth designs for the Energy Efficiency division, as well as display signs for the Wild Horse Wind farm, Port Townsend, and Vashon Island offices..
In addition, I was the director of marketing For Cinderella’s Trunk, a 501-c3, located in Bothell, Washington from 2003-2005. While the director, I branded the organization with a new look, logo, and Web site which included the organization being featured in CosmoGIRL!. During that time, client growth more than tripled the growth seen in the previous four years of operation.
Education: I have a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from City University of Seattle. Right out of high school I went to Ferris State University for four years but moved to Washington state before completing my degree.
Family and History: I currently reside in the Seattle area, am married, and have three adorable kitties. I grew up in Humble, TX and Reed City, MI. When I was 24 I moved to Washington state to be with my husband. (We meet on ICQ - an old school chat - almost as old as IRC.)
